I push my professional boundaries to explore outside of my everyday realm which is crucial to enhancing my culinary abilities.

I was born in Sonora, Mexico and I was raised in San Luis, Arizona, with dreams to move out from that very small city and pursue my career in the capital of Arizona, Phoenix

My journey started at the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute and ever since then I have worked my way from prep cook to General Manager and Restaurant Chef. My experience has led me onto Food Network’s Chopped, ultimately helping me to step out of my comfort and expand on my passion and intentions in cooking.
