Matt was AMAZING! The food was truly delicious. He designed a menu to cater to my vegetarian needs, but that also my non-vegetarian friends truly enjoyed. Throughout the planning process, he was very responsive and made me feel confident about the evening. As the dinner at an airbnb, Matt reached out when we checked in to make sure he could bring any dishes/utensils that could be missing. His food is fresh, delicious and healthy. He had multiple dishes and each was perfect. He also explained everything when serving. He left the kitchen cleaner than when he came. He truly created an unique and amazing experience for us. Truly recommend him

Chef Matthew is absolutely amazing! I've had different chef experiences in the past, but he's unlike anyone I've ever worked with. He is more than an expert in his craft, his passion and work with world-renowned chefs shows through in every single ingredient. From his menu to plating, Matthew was easy to work with, went above and beyond and delivered exceptional food. The technique in his cooking makes for a world-class experience, and every dish was creative, refreshing and just as beautiful to look at as they were to eat. Every little detail was so well thought out and his passion for making it a great experience for us was unmatched. Not to mention he's a pleasure to be around. I can not recommend him enough, he's the best!

I have been a restaurateur for 25+ years but did not want to use one of my chefs. It was a risk well taken. Matthew is a fine chef. His food knowledge, enthusiasm and taste was out of this world. I had 10 foodies at my home for a Surprise Bday party. I think I was the most surprised at what a fine meal we had. Many of the guests commented that it was one of the best meals they have ever had anywhere. Matt took the time to build a menu that suited the crowd. He also took the time to meet up. He stayed in touch prior to the evening to coordinate details of our night. We even all made gnocchi with him. (a special cooking class treat) I I would like to tell you about my favorite course but literally every course was better than the next; ending with the belle noir dessert which I can still taste. I will use this service again and hope that Matt will be available.

Chef Matt was amazing! His food was amazing. I've had dinners that cost a lot more or around the same price that didn't taste nearly as good or look as good as Chef Matt's dishes. He was also just a great person in general. My wife and I had a great time interacting with him, and he really made our night together extra special with the wonderful dishes he prepared as well as their presentation. The portion sizes were also great! I'm from Maryland and am pretty particular when comes to crab, and Chef Matt made us some killer crab cakes that any Marylander would love. They were also huge and the lump blue crab he used was delicious!!! Every dish we tried was delicious! I would definitely use Chef Matt's services in the future, and I have recommended Take-a-Chef, as well as Chef Matt to other people I know. This was the first time I used a personal Chef service and I gotta say, Chef Matt knocked it out of the park on all levels. Professionalism, Quality, Taste, Presentation, Personality....he's got it all!!! Book him you won't be dissapointed!!! Thanks again Chef Matt, looking forward to next time!! -Kenny T.
