My name is Jamila Bowen and I am from the island of Barbados originally where I was employed as a Private Chef for a sailing vessel for the past 7 years.I have also worked as a yacht chef in Vancouver, British Columbia and freelanced as a private chef with remote lodges in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia. Before that I have worked at the Fontainebleau Hotel In Miami, Florida, U.S.A for about 6 years in various restaurants there. I also have experience offering Private Chef services and catering to homes and villas in Vancouver, Canada, Vermont, Florida and Barbados. I specialize in Caribbean, Latin American, Asian, Italian and American cuisines. I also have knowledge of the Ketogenic diet, Paleo diet, Gluten Free eating and Vegan diets.
