Chef Mattia Pagliara

Born in Milano, in a southern Italian household raised by a single mother and here 4 siblings, food was at the center of everyday s life.

The Sundays at grandmas were a constant source of culinary amusement and inspiration.

The idea of turning the simple and non expensive into delicious meals was where the magic began.

Worked in restaurants since his teenage years, he briefly moved to Australia at the age of 21 for then moving to Vietnam where he stayed for almost a decade, running Italian restaurants and exporting his culinary heritage on that side of the world.

Moved to Canada in 2016 with his Canadian wife and daughter, he is currently working as a professional chef in Toronto.
