I am a professional chef with more than 10 years of experience working in a variety of restaurants and other kitchens in multiple states and countries. I've worked in fine dining, casual restaurants, food trucks, hotels, catering companies, wedding venues, large sporting events, and as a private chef. Basically, when it comes to foodservice, if you name, I've probably worked there. I went to culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm very well versed in a wide variety of different cuisines and can cook almost anything you might request. My favorite foods to cook are the bold, vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia and Latin America; I have a large index of delicious Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, and Latin American dishes that I greatly enjoy cooking. While I'm not strictly vegan myself, I do greatly enjoy cooking plant-based food and can offer many very satisfying and healthy vegan and vegetarian dishes.

This was an amazing experience!! I hired a chef for Lisa and I for our 20th Anniversary dinner. Our chef, Jared Kent, was awesome! He prepared an Italian dinner that was the best Elegant italian dinner we ever had. His meal was very authentic and beautifully presented. I even used a torch for our crème brûlée! Chef also brought the food and made it from scratch, cleaned the stove, and put everything away in the kitchen! It was spotless. Highly recommended.

Jared was very professional. He came on time and did what he had to do, the experience was great and I would highly recommend him.

Excellent experience

Our chef, Jared Kent, was awesome! He prepared a Thai fest that was the best Thai we ever had. He spent time in Thailand and his meal was very authentic and beautifully presented.
