I’m a dynamic freelance chef known for his innovative use of classical culinary techniques

presented with contemporary

flair. My cooking style is deeply rooted in respect for ingredients, an approach shaped early on by access to abundant local suppliers across Ontario and Canada.

The son of Jamaican immigrants who came to Canada to build a future and start a family. My culinary journey is grounded in lived experience and memories of picking fruit, harvesting vegetables, and raising animals for food have formed the foundation of my relationship with ingredients and continue to influence my thoughtful, ingredient-driven cooking style.

After earning my Red Seal certification in 2005, I expanded my culinary horizons by relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia.

I managed upscale restaurants and hotels and experienced the intensity and excitement of being the Restaurant Chef at the Fairmont Waterfront during the 2010 Olympic Games.

Returning to Ontario, I shifted my focus to corporate catering, eventually opening my own catering company in Kitchener. A core priority of my business was building strong relationships with farms, vendors, and local suppliers. I prioritized educating myself as well as my staff about where food comes from and how best to honour it on the plate.

I am continuing my education with training in Agricultural Technology, reinforcing long-standing commitment to sustainable food systems and farm-to-table connections.
