Award-winning Chef John Procacci has been a professional chef in the Orlando area for over 25 years and has a reputation of excellence. He has a gift for culinary arts and loves serving delicious healthy cuisine.
During his career, he has won numerous culinary awards for his healthy spa-inspired cuisine and has been a featured chef in Health, Self & Newsweek Magazines. Originally from Orlando, FL, Chef Procacci began his career while serving in the United States Navy from. While serving in the Navy, he toured the world and quickly ascended from assistant cook to the Captain's Private Chef.
With an honorable discharge he was hired as Chef Tournade at Arthur's 27 (5 star - 5 diamond restaurant) than quickly advanced to the first "Spa-Chef" at Disney's Buena Vista Palace Resort and Spa. As Spa Chef he developed healthy recipes and taught cooking techniques to chefs; so Disney's guest could have a healthy dinning alternative. He was than recruited In 1997, as the Executive Chef for a natural food restaurant chain.
With eight locations, Chamberlin's was the largest organic gourmet deli operation in Florida. In 2001, he launched an Organic Whole Foods Cooking School, teaching a hands on approach to healthy cuisine. From there he started Healthy Chef Creations (first national organic prepared meal distributer), and was the Culinary Director for almost 12 years. After selling the business in 2013, he now enjoys being a private chef for hire in the Central Florida area.
