I'm a plant based chef using seasonal produce, vegetable led, my travels influence the flavours, and style of my food.
I'm a plant based chef, my food looks to find the balance between uplifting, healthy, and delicious. My love of travel combined with my interest in nutritious, mindful cooking heavily influence the flavours and style of my food.
I started cooking in London but was drawn to New York’s vibrant and forward-thinking food scene. I went on to study at the Natural Gourmet Institute, a cooking school that focuses on vegetarian health-supportive cooking. When she returned to London Kali started private cheffing, hosting supper clubs, dinner parties and developing recipes.
My food developed over the years, moving to be more sustainable, seasonal cooking. I look to source the best ingredients, grown locally, and organically where possible. While my food is vegetable and wholefood focused, my travels influence the flavours, techniques and energy of my food.
My private work includes cooking for UHNW families in their homes in London and travelling to holiday villas worldwide. I've catered retreats, am involved in recipe development and hosted informal and fun supper clubs in London and New York with my partner Memby. Together we went on to launch Palm Greens in 2018, a plant based cafe in buzzing Hackney, London.
