I am a cook with heavy aspirations and wide interests. I am passionate about all things food: not only the recipes, but rather all the necessary systems that allow for food to be served: science (the elements) , environment, and all the people involved in the supply chain! All of these sometimes unknown steps matter in order to deliver a meaningful dish. I studied Environmental Policy & Economics at the University of Amsterdam while starting as an cook, then later assistant chef, and sumoultanously catering for festivals. I am currently employed as a full time chef at a restaurant located on Overtoom. My food has a wide range, I love to be challenged, and love to find out exactly what people enjoy to eat, as well as the foods they believe they will never eat, I find it beautiful to be able to change an individual's perspective on food! I can cook Mediterranean food, as well as many other sorts of cuisine! Ask and I will deliver. I am very focused on finding ingredients that are nourishing but also affordable.
