I'm an artist in love with classic cuisine and with the power of comforting (soul) food in mental health
I'm 28 years old and have been in the culinary industry for the last 8+ years. Music and cooking are my favorite things in life (oh, and dogs). I'm a drummer and have been since I was a kid, but because of the lack of opportunity in this country to develop myself as a professional musician, I had to find out what else was I good at. Thanks to what I learned in 2008 I started getting interested in the history of gastronomy, and how food's linked to our human heritage and evolution, and after researching a lot I began taking cooking lessons.
In 2013 I got my first job as a dishwasher with the ultimate goal of being a cook. And so it began my journey to becoming an onion chopper and it was finally accomplished. After many years, I can tell I have the experience and I'm confident enough to have a kitchen in my charge as well as being able to lead others down the same path.
