Chef Alex Komessar

Hi, My name is Alexander Komessar. I'm a personal chef in the Greater Boston area but attend The University of Vermont as a Dietetics student. As far as work experience I spent the 2022 summer working at Barbara Lynch's "Menton" in downtown Boston. This restaurant has been awarded a continuous 5 stars by Forbes magazine as well as a member of Relais and Chatuex. During my time I worked around the kitchen and learned a wide variety of techniques. I also spent several months working at "Citrus" in Vero Beach, FL, where I worked around the kitchen as well as mentored under Scott Varricchio, whom of which as worked at a wide number of 2 and 3 michelin starred resteraunts. This past summer I worked as a personal chef where I was hired for dinners consisting of 8-14 guests and provided 3-5 courses. I was also sous chef for David Verdo of David Verdo Personal Chef and Catering.
