Hello my name is Ben!
I spent the first have of my cooking carer in Europe working in London & Lyon when I returned to Australia.
I spent most of my cooking career around the Melbourne restaurant scene. I first moved to Melbourne to work at the esteemed Thai restaurant Longrain, where I was the Sous Chef for three years. I then progressed to Sous Chef at the hatted Thai restaurant, Easy Tiger, while also holding regular cooking classes and demonstrations at South Melbourne Market for four years.
In 2012 I was Electrolux State Finalist Young Chef of the Year.
Moving to Queensland offered the opportunity to create a piece of Southeast Asia in my backyard. Teaming up with my wife, Rachael, we bought out four acre property up to the garden sanctuary it is today - brimming with native herbs and Southeast Asian fruits and vegetables. I look forward to providing you with an amazing private dining experience!
