Get to know me better
I’m as good as the last plate I served.
I am an experienced and rofessionally trained chef, with a long and diverse experience, prior to finding my personal mission in the kitchen. I studied journalism, worked in marketing for more than 10 years, reaching top management positions, then chose cooking as a vocation. I ran a successful culinary blog, two restaurants on two continents and then completed my studies at one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the world - Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute of London.
I believs my personal mission is to transform food into a memorable experience. My deepest passion is to create unique, completely customised culinary experiences for the clients I work with. I believe that a key part of my mission in the kitchen is to educate people about the importance of fresh ingredients, sourced locally and grown responsibly and the art of honouring those ingredients by preparing and mixing them creatively.
Over the years, I have facilitated numerous cooking demonstrations and practical workshops, both for professional cooks as well as for amateurs. I regularly hosted private lunches and dinners in my culinary studio in Bucharest and facilitated team-cooking experiences for groups - large and small - from various companies. I have worked closely with different corporate partners, creating experiential events with extremely diverse themes - creative pairings of wine or beer with outstanding food, exploring ethnic cuisine, discovering certain ingredients or cooking techniques.
Since 2017, I have been reaching students all over the world with my online cooking courses on Udemy.
In 2019, I moved, with my family, to Australia and happily live and cook on the Sunshine Coast. There, in a beautiful place by the ocean, I keep on learning and weaving creative stories on plates, spreading the love for food as an uplifting experience, not just as nourishment.
