I am sincerely devoted and passionate regarding creating culinary art and dishes that are hard to forget.

My name is Larson Washington. I am extremely excited about this opportunity. I am currently enjoying my 14th year as a middle school teacher. Originally, I taught social studies and English. However, I have been fortunate enough to teach middle culinary arts for the last three years. Cooking is my passion. It has been a blessing. I graduated from culinary arts school in 2001. Since graduation, I have held every position in the kitchen, including line cook, sous chef, head chef and restaurant manager. My cooking style is clean, healthy, and classic. I would describe myself as a talent chef with diverse experiences. I am originally from Austin, Texas. My Texas heritage taught me to appreciate and focus on American southern regional cuisine, Tex-Mex, and of course dry rub barbeque. Growing up in Seattle has giving me a huge appreciation for seafood, Asian, and Indian style cuisine. I feel confident in those areas, yet my absolute favorite is Italian. Overall, my palate is eclectic, and my skills vary. I would be open to focusing on one specific area in the future.

Chef Larson was awesome! He arrived when he said he would and provided a delicious 5 coarse meal. Everyone in attendance was in awe of the presentation and taste. I will not hesitate to use Chef again if and when the occasion arises.

Chef Washington was fantastic. We had him cook for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and my mother has a long list of dietary requirements. The Chef happily worked with us to prepare a menu that she could eat, and he checked several times on the day of the dinner to make sure she knew what she was eating and that it was OK for her. And, best of all, the rest of us ate the exact same meal and didn't feel the absence of any of the allergens - remarkable when the top two requirements are to be gluten-free and dairy-free! We would be very happy to have Chef Washington again next time we host a dinner party.

Larson was really amazing. I booked a very last minute dinner for my husband’s 40th birthday and he made an incredible spread with like 18 hours notice. The food was to die for from start to finish. We truly appreciate him and will definitely book with him again.

Our chef exceeded our expectations. Despite the humble and casual surface of the chef, the food was visually appealing, vibrant and delicious in the mouth, and amazingly fast on delivery. The experience we got for the price easily outruns many restaurants in the city, inside our home which made it easy to enjoy with our toddler who needs his space. We are surely going to request the chef's service again for visiting guests and other occasions.
